Our friendly, knowledgeable, and fun guides will make your tour a memorable one!
The Bike and Roll tour guides are the “secret ingredient” that makes our tours so great! We have an outstanding team of guides with fun personalities; they are smart, witty, and very outgoing. They also love what they do and have a real passion for Chicago.
Bike and Roll guides are all local experts, most are native Chicagoans who have formerly worked as actors, concierges, teachers, and even boat captains. They will share with you all the great stories and details of the windy city and guide you to some places that some locals may not even know about.
All of our tour guides go through a long and professional training course to equip them with the best tools to deliver not only an informative and fun tour but also a safe one.<

Mike R.
BIO: Originally from the Detroit Metro area, Mike enjoys performing and writing stand-up and sketch comedy throughout the Chicago area. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and following the great recession of 2009, Mike decided that working for Bike and Roll was far more fun. His favorite museum is the Museum of Science and Industry, mostly for its interactive qualities, but also because he claims he actually understands some of the whimsical science behind the exhibits. Mike’s favorite Chicago style pizza place is Lou Malnati’s, they’ll send you a pizza through the mail, enough said! With a great selection of restaurants, night life and a Zoo to boot, Lincoln Park is his choice neighborhood, which coincides with his favorite tour the "Friendly Neighborhoods Electric Bike Tour."

Kate P.
BIO: Kate hails from the suburbs of Chicago and has lived in Chicago proper for the last ten years. She loves her city! Oh, she’s been to other cities, New York, Paris, London, Rome and they have their "qualities," But nothing beats Chicago. Clean, friendly, easy to get around, bike friendly and, of course, the delicious, delicious food. Kate is an actress who spends a great deal of time improvising. Chicago is considered the improv mecca of the world. People swarm from all over the US and the world to train at The Second City and iO, Kate has trained at both and continues to perform on the improv team Damascus Steel at The Playground theatre. She also helped start and performs with an all female improv troupe devoted to the style of Jane Austen. When Kate’s not on stage, you can find her at The Art Institute staring at some of the world’s most amazing and famous impressionist art. Including Monet’s Hay Stacks, Picasso’s The Old Guitarist, and her absolute favorite, George Seurat’s Sunday on the La Grande Jatte. Kate lives in Lakeview, which is a bustling, lively and a fun part of town. If you wanna get to the heart of Lakeview just take the Red, Brown or Purple “L” to the Belmont Stop, and you’re there. Lots of people come to Chicago for pizza and you can find it on almost every street, but if you want the best, you’ll have to work for it. The Art of Pizza is at 3033 N Ashland Ave (between Barry Ave & Nelson St). Once you’re at Belmont, take the Belmont bus West, hop off at Ashland/Lincoln and walk South on Ashland. After a couple blocks, you’ll see it. Delicious and award winning!!! Kate’s favorite Bike and Roll tour is, hands down, the Amazing Lake Front bike tour. You get to see parts of Chicago that some Chicagoan’s don’t even know about, like the Alfred Caldwell Lily pond and the North Pond Restaurant. You’ll spend three hours doing what most Chicagoans, including Kate, love to do on a daily basis, enjoy our Lakefront.
