In-line skates are roller skates that have the wheels arranged in a straight line.  Often mistakenly referred to by the brand name of the manufacturer rollerblade, in-line skates feature a hard plastic boot with 4 polyurethane plastic wheels attached in a way similar to an ice skate.  In-line skates are great for rolling up and down Chicago’s lakefront path.
